"However good a constitution may be, if those who are implementing it are not good, it will prove to be bad. However bad a constitution may be, if those implementing it are good, it will prove to be good" - #DrBRAmbedkar November 26 is a landmark day for India. On this day in 1949, the Constitution of India was adopted by the Constituent Assembly and on January 26, 1950 it came into force. The Constitution declares India a "sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic and to secure to all its citizens justice, social, economic and political; liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship; equality of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation." Ahead of Constitution Day or Samvidhan Divas, we remember BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian constitution. Constitution Day was first celebrated in 2015, when the government decided to mark the day as a tribute to BR Ambedkar. #appleglobslschool #beanapplet #constitutionday2020

Covid-19: What a year!!! We all have experienced Covid 19....also called Corona Virus and we all have from a different perspective. Majority say that it is the worst year, but I think it is better....so here is my point of view.... People say that we cannot get together with besties and cousins. We cannot meet them. But now, as everything.... even parties are done on phone, I have started reuniting with old friends by texting and also made new ones! Yes! I became friends with friends of my friends without meeting face to face. Isn't it a shock? As we all are talking to each other by texting, I could talk to not only friends, even cousins that live far far away, sometimes even USA. 👭🏻📱 Moving on......I never felt that I was quarantined. I had a lot of fun during school. We had sports, studies, dance, Saturday activities, debate, Diya decoration and so much more. We even had our chapter test through drama, debate, photo journals and activities. All teachers were very kind and supportive and also, they let us have lot of fun during class. 📚🎒 When my father got covid, it was very hard because I had fever, my grandparents had chikungunya, my mom also had fever and my pet dog Mario had to wear a cone due to eye infection.😞 I requested my friends to play video games with me so I wouldn’t get bored. I was shifted to my maternal grandma’s house and was quarantined in a room. My parents told me not to get sad or lonely, they said that feelings affect our immunity and it was tough to stay happy stuck in one room looking at T.V all day, but I stayed happy. The teachers at school supported me a lot. They understood my situation and helped me. Thank you Teachers for everything.☺️ In this pandemic, I found a book series that I really love and I found so many TV series which were outstanding. I also found out marvelous movies. I found a book series called “The find-outers." It is about mysteries. It is my favorite book of all time. 😃📖📺 In quarentine, we can easily chat with friends or video call but what about the times when we used to play? In corona we played online games together and also we did online sleepovers and parties!!! You can also do that! We kept the zoom meeting on till 12 for online sleepover and brought snacks and ate them. We also danced and partied! We planned online surprises for friends on their birthdays and we even met in real life twice with proper precautions!!!✨ This is my perspective of corona virus! What is yours? -by Khushi Sheth🐶
