Eco friendly, hand made Rakhis📿 were made by our Pre-Primary & Primary Applets. This initiative was conceptualized & mentored by our Green Crusader Vice Captain Mahi Sharma of Grade 9I. Mahi Sharma coached all the Applets how to make hand made Rakhis from biodegradable & eco friendly materials. These rakhis📿 were extra special as they have seeds embedded in them. Post the Rakshabandhan Festival💫 these Rakhis can be sowed in soil to grow into beautiful plants & trees! We are very glad to announce the that two students from Grade 1 participated in First NSKSI National Karate Championship 2022, held at Savvy Swaraj sports Club, Ahmedabad. 🥋 JAISHAN PORWAL from grade 1 Eternity bagged Gold 🏅in both Categories KATA ( Form of Karate) and Kumite ( Fight). And MAHIMN VYAS from Grade 1 E has won two Silver Medals🎖️ in 2 events (Kata and Kumite(fight)) in NSKSI National Karate Championship. we are proud to state that Vidhi Srivastav of Grade 7 Eternity participated in a national Rubik's cube competition and bagged second position with silver medal🥈 in 2019 and first position with Gold medal🎖️ this year. She emerged as a winner🎯 from around 600 participants from all over India....and there were categories in which the timings and age were categorised. Small efforts go a long way ! ☘️🤝☘️ We at AGS are proud to be a Green school ! For us it is not just about being a Green school but is about working hard on it . Our Green Crusader team ☘️✨☘️- Mahi Sharma and Tvesha Mishra took an initiative to conduct a " Green your School" by using waste plastic bottles.🌟 Applets from Primary to Grade 12 have actively Participated in this activity.💠 Keeping our Motto in mind - REDUSE , REUSE and RECYCLE students were requested to use plastic bottles as planters. These are readily available and often get dumped in the Garbage dumps as waste and they create a lot of harm to our planet. ♻️ Ever wondered about using these bottles or any other reusable materials that are always present in our homes ? 🏠 Our Applets had decorated the bottles and planted beautiful plants in them which are now hanging at the entry point of our campus.♻️ ' Where flowers bloom, so does hope'. To celebrate books and help grow a love for them Grade 2 applets were invited to dress up as a story character from a book of their choice. Students were also welcomed to bring in the book that their character is from.
