Every year, 21st March is celebrated as the International Day of Forests since the year 2012. This initiative is to raise awareness of the importance of forests in our lives and the ecosystem. Through this initiative, countries are encouraged to undertake local, national, and international efforts to organize activities involving forests and trees, such as tree-planting campaigns and so on. The theme for the year 2022 is "FORESTS AND SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION". We, in our school, celebrated the occasion by encouraging children through creative activities like rhymes/jingles or posters/paintings, or slogans/poems. We are pleased to share a few contributions from our children which are worth appreciating.
