As a part of the curriculum, Grade 1 Applets learnt about clothes, thread and cotton. They saw pictures, videos and listened from their teachers, but they were amazed to see their own 'Didi' from senior grade, making thread out of a pile of cotton, a LIVE demo.
They loved looking at the Magic of thread making, tried their tiny hands at moving charkha and came to an understanding that it's a skill, not magic.
Apart from gaining knowledge there was a sense of bonding as well.
Overall a beautiful experience for both junior and senior applets.
