The World Book and Copyright Day was celebrated at AGS for the whole week(from 18/4/2022 to 22/4/2022) with expert talks by authors to storytelling.
Grade 1&2 were enthralled by Mala Shah's Chinese and Jamaican folklores filled with captivating sounds and old age learnings for life.
The students were mesmerised by the characters in the story through the energetic enactment of the story.
"Being a facilitator for kindergarten for about 9 years I felt children enjoy listening to stories. Earlier we had dada, dadi, aai, aajoba telling stories. With many families now staying in isolation from the older generation makes it difficult for the folk tales to survive to the next generation. It is my novice attempt to revive the art of story telling."- Mala Shah
