विश्व हिन्दी दिवस प्रति वर्ष 10 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है। इसका उद्देश्य विश्व में हिन्दी के प्रचार-प्रसार के लिये जागरूकता पैदा करना तथा हिन्दी को अन्तरराष्ट्रीय भाषा के रूप में पेश करना है। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री डॉक्टर मनमोहन सिंह ने 10 जनवरी 2006 को हर साल विश्व हिन्दी दिवस के रूप मनाए जाने की घोषणा की थी l अभी विश्व के सैंकड़ों विश्वविद्यालयों में हिन्दी पढ़ाई जाती है और पूरी दुनिया में करोड़ों लोग हिन्दी बोलते हैं. यही नहीं हिन्दी दुनिया भर में सबसे ज्यादा बोली जाने वाली पांच भाषाओं में से एक हैI विश्व हिन्दी दिवस के अलावा हर साल 14 सितंबर को 'हिन्दी दिवस' मनाया जाता हैI 14 सितंबर 1949 को संविधान सभा ने हिन्दी को राजभाषा का दर्जा दिया था तभी से 14 सितंबर को हिन्दी दिवस मनाया जाता हैI #appleglobalschool #beanapplet #bestschoolinahmedabad #worldhindiday2020 #vishwahindidiwas #educationinahmedabad #onlineeducation

Virtual Club session continues and today we are focusing on Pythagoras Club! In the last session, we had a wonderful session based on the area of a circle. Firstly, we were briefed with various area formulas and understood how each formula is derived and works. We then did this activity where we learnt how the area of a circle is equal to the area of a rectangle and we, then started creating our own visual diagram by following the steps told by our club mentor. Various steps which were followed in making the outcome of the activity are as follows: - (The below-attached file is an example of what we did in the activity as well as in the session) 1. Firstly, with a compass, we took a radius of, let's say 8cm and drew a circle. 2. We then cut the circle into 16 wedges of equal sizes with the help of a protractor and numbered them. 3. After that, we took the small wedges and alternated them to form a rectangle. 4. Organ donation as we all know is a very famous term but at the same time, it is very rarely put into practice. Organ donation is the campaign started by Grade 8 Students of Apple Global School which urges people to become donors, create awareness and to bust the myth related to organ donation.
