Rakshabandhan or 'Rakhi' is a special occasion🎉🥳 to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister.🧒👧 To celebrate this festival, our Applets of Gr 2 - 5 were engaged in Rakhi Making Activity. Students showcased their talent by making beautiful and creative hand-made Rakhis by using pulses, threads, ribbons, laces, seeds and a variety of other materials.Applets learnt about the importance of the festival.It enhanced their aesthetic sense and creativity.The students were able to relate them with their own culture and tradition.A sense of ownership and pride were instilled in them. 🤩🤩🤩 Here are a few glimpses of the activity.

Post the Rakshabandhan Festival💫 these Rakhis can be sowed in soil to grow into beautiful plants & trees!
